Terra Blevins

I'm a final year PhD student in the Natural Language Processing group at the University of Washington. My advisor is Luke Zettlemoyer. I graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Computer Science where I worked with Kathy McKeown.

I'm generally interested in linguistic analysis of NLP models and multilingual NLP. I also work on using these analysis insights to build better NLP systems. Recently, this has involved (a) examining the composition and effect of large pretraining datasets and (b) studying multilingual models to better understand how they acquire unsupervised cross-lingual transfer.
